Masai mara reserve is located in south west Kenya approximately 270km, 5 hours’ drive and 45 minutes flight from Nairobi the capital of Kenya.  The park also boarders Tanzania , connecting it  to Tanzania’s Serengeti national park thereby making it one of Africans greatest national reserves, as well as  creating  one of the most incredible  and  spectacular bionetworks.

Famous for the abundance of lions, the Great Wildebeest Migration where over 1 million wildebeest and Zebras follow an annual migratory route from and to Serengeti to Maasai Mara and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations.

The Masai mara reserve expands to 1510 sq km  and  raises  from 1500 meters to 2170 m above sea level .Masai is one of the greatest African wildlife view point explaining why it receives a huge fractions of visitors through the year who from time to time visit to experience   the splendor of  Masai mara.

The park is  well endowed with literally  all the wildlife game one would want to  see during an African  safari, from big prides of lions, to large herds of elephants,  extremely large herds of wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants,  buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, baboons,   hartebeests,  hippos  etc along  several birds species.

The Maasai Mara Ecosystem holds one of the highest lion densities in world and this is where over Two Million Wildebeest, Zebra and Thompsons Gazelle migrate annually. Its hosts over 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds. This is considered the 7th wonder of the new world.


The 3 days Masai Mara safari offers a short adventure to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. It entails exploration of one of the world’s top national game reserves. Carrying out activities such as   game drives,   mingling with the local Masai patrol tribes to get acquainted with their  traditions. If time allows, you could also get have a bird’s eye view of Masai Mara in a hot air balloon ride spotting some of the most acentric  views as  you gaze below  at wildlife scampering in  the savanna.

Day 1: Nairobi  – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Departure from Nairobi to Masai mara will be at 7.30 am, travel southwards via the Rift Valley view point, admire the escapement there and then to the little Italian church which is just some few meters ahead, get the history there and proceed to Narok, a small masai town which is known for its beautiful curios, arrive in Masai mara in time for lunch where your lunch will be served at Keekorock lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge followed by afternoon game drive in the park, get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Have your breakfast early in the morning followed by the whole day game drive in the park where your picnic lunch will be served at the mara river which is at the border of Kenya and Tanzania, enjoy as you both view and admire the cool atmosphere there, see the spectacular migration of both wildebeests and zebras if you are travelling between july to september, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Masai Mara  – Nairobi

Start with an early morning game drive followed by late breakfast at the lodge as you depart for Nairobi stopping sporadically for the breathtaking panoramic view at the points of your choice to take photos . The tour ends in Nairobi in the afternoon as you live to share the memories with others.
