Itinerary Details -

Departure from Nairobi to Masai mara will be at 7.30 am, travel southwards via the Rift Valley view point, admire the escapement there and then to the little Italian church which is just some few meters ahead, get the history there and proceed to Narok, a small masai town which is known for its beautiful curios, arrive in Masai mara in time for lunch where your lunch will be served followed by afternoon game drive in the park, get back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Have your breakfast early in the morning followed by the whole day game drive in the park where your picnic lunch will be served at the mara river which is at the border of Kenya and Tanzania, enjoy as you both view and admire the cool atmosphere there, see the spectacular migration of both wildebeests and zebras if you are travelling between july to september, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

We will start the day with an early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. After which, we will depart for Lake Nakuru National park located in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is home to a stunning flock of lesser and greater Flamingos, turning the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch. The park has diverse species of over 400 birds such as White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa where you can see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild’s Giraffe.

You will leave Lake Nakuru National Park early in the morning after breakfast with an enroute game drive to proceed to Amboseli National park. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants as well as the Mount Kilimanjaro which gives you opportunities to take photos of the wild animals with it as the background.

The park is also known for other wild animals.

You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp/lodge. Have your lunch, check in and then leave for an afternoon game drive up until sunset.

We will set off early to see the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Giraffes, and Baboons. An optional visit to a Masai village can be arranged after breakfast. Maasai warriors are also known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and single-handed acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals have spread across the world.

Depart for Tsavo East National Park after having your breakfast. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon in time for lunch, relaxation and freshening up; a game drive in the evening will follow.

Full day at Tsavo East national park with two game drives, depart from the lodge to visit the Mzima Springs where you may view the crocodiles and hippos swimming under the water with a choice of a picnic or buffet lunch. After lunch we drive to “shetani” lava flows and have a view of Chyulu Hills too.

We embark on an early morning game drive and a scenic view of sunrise which catches us as you expose the Tsavo west national park. You will visit the Rhino sanctuary where endangered species are protected.

Nature is at its best with predators out of the hunt and the natural clouds dominate the scenic volcanic terrain.

You will leave the Tsavo west for the Kenya coast and beaches.
Continue into Mombasa’s old town, where diverse historical architecture tells the story of the Africans, Arabs, Asians, Portuguese, and British who have shared the city for hundreds of years. Take in the elephant trunk monument, a poignant reminder of the now-illegal ivory trade that flourished in Mombasa.

Spend the afternoon in Haller Park, a wildlife sanctuary with a fish farm and reptile zoo. The park was constructed in a disused cement quarry, and has been transformed with hundreds of indigenous plants, casuarinas trees, and other vegetation, which now support a thriving animal population. Try to spot some of the bush pigs, giraffes, elands, and Oryx that live within the park. After visiting the park, return to your Mombasa hotel, where this tour concludes.

Your full-day tour starts with hotel pickup for the transfer to the Indian ocean where you’ll board an Arabian-style dhow. All equipment is provided on board, including cushions, towels, masks, snorkels, fins, and diving gear (for those who wish to scuba dive, which is available at an additional fee for qualified and non-qualified divers).

Spend the afternoon at leisure on the island; you can relax around the natural lagoon, visit the island community project run by the Wasini ladies group, or explore the mangroves.

You’ll return to your hotel in the evening to end your day trip.

Relax on the beach to explore the Kenyan coast as well as visit places like Mamba village, which is situated in Nyali-East Africa’s largest crocodile farm. The tour of farm will start with a movie on the life cycle and behaviours of crocodiles, which will be followed by a comprehensive tour of the rest farm and ends with highlight of the day- spectacular scene of blood thirsty crocodiles fighting for food during feeding time. You will find superbly grilled meat- an excellent cuisine available at the Mamba Restaurant.

You will take a tour to Fort Jesus, which was built to secure the safety of Portuguese living on the East Coast of Africa. Then can travel to Haller Park, a former disused quarry that has been reborn as a small private game sanctuary.

A visit to Wasini Island will allow you in encountering dolphins as well as learn more about Shimoni caves

You will spend the day relaxing at the hotel and engaging yourselves in optional activities.

Have your breakfast as you check out from the hotel and bid Mombasa good bye and proceed back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon with a drop off either in your hotel or to the Airport to catch up with your flight back home or to the next destination.
