The 3 days Masai Mara safari offers a short adventure to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. It entails exploration of one of the world’s top national game reserves. At 07:30, we will pick you up at the hotel or the airport in Nairobi. We will drive to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley, heading to the game reserve’s camp/lodge. After lunch and some relaxation, we proceed for an afternoon game drive until the African sunset. Thereafter, we will return to camp for dinner.
After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It’s one of the few places where it’s possible to see the Big Five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. We will wake up at 6:00 am for a sunrise game drive. At 9:00 am, we’ll drive back to your accommodation for brunch then depart for Nairobi. Lunch will be en-route. You’ll arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon.
